win98 unknown device?

hi,
i'm installing win98 on old pc (pentium III). all the devices have been installed and resolved except one with a yellow question mark (unknow device). anybody know what this is? and where the driver would be?
i'm guessing it might be usb, but does win98 have the driver for it?

Can you expand the unknown device in device manager and click properties to get a clue about what it is referring to?
If you can expand unknown device, you might try putting check mark in 'disable the hardware device' box.

"Go over the other devices in your system, see if you have any hardware that isn't listed, and then contact the manufacturer of the missing devices for the appropriate drivers. Note that sometimes the Device Manager lists devices that either don't exist or exist but don't need drivers."

Hope this helps.
