Hello,
I built a pc for my friend's business. He has a peer to peer network.
He has 4 pc's going to a hub. When I setup the new computer, the LAN is acting weird now.
Below is the name of each pc on the LAN and how it is working on browsing "entire network":
mark: She can see everyone within the lan. No problems.
bill: can see everyone within the lan. no problems.
mickey: can only see bill and tranfer files with him.
walter2 (new pc) can see mark and bill Can't see Mickey and tranfer files or share resources to her on the net
Does this mean that Mickey's is the pc with the problem?
Or could the hub be at fault?
What are a bad hub symptoms?
In any case, my friend really needs Mickey and walter2 to be networked together for business ASAP.
They are the bookkeeping.!
Anyone with any answers?
Thanks-
