Could we encourage members to put a *resolved* at the end of their thread titles in the help forums after they get an answer so we know which one's are still active. We started doing this at a programming site and it sure helped focus people on the questions still outstanding

I have seen this before, where they edit their post and add resolved in front of title or replace title altogethor. I suggest something like this:
Resolved-Win98 problems
This gives opportinity to see which posts haven't been resolved.

Cool, yeap not like a hard and fast rule more a gentle "gee it would be really great if..." sort of thing:)
