I have a wireless laptop and an ethernet cabled desktop on a network connected through a Linksis router. Both can get online, and can see each other on our network. I can browse files that are on the desktop from the laptop that are in my shared folders and the shared drive (F) I have on the desktop for the laptop. I created a network drive on the laptop to see the F: drive on the desktop.
I want to be able to have full read write access from my laptop to my desktop into my network drive I created on the laptop, and at the moment I only have read and thats limited. When I try to create anything i get access denied, and when I try to go into any folders or open files from my network drive I get access denied or various other negative responses.
I think I have full access given to the laptop for r/w access, but I could be wrong...and probably am since im having the problems.
How can I get it so that I have r/w access?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
