Was watching Dr. Who on the SciFi Channel last friday and was surprised by the statement that he was the last Time Lord. Something must have happened between when Dr Who was last shown here in the states in the 80s and when it finally left the airways in England.

Any Dr Who fans here that can tell me what happened to the other time lords and Galifrey?

Just the mention of Dr Who brings a shudder to my spine. A childhood spent crouched behind the couch on a saturday night .fingers in my ears so i couldnt hear the spooky music

It was carnage Dan.

Still, enjoy the sights of Cardiff, both the 2 newer series of Dr Who were shot there for the city centre shots. Not sure about the blocks of flats though.

Keep watching, old son. I wondered the same thing when I saw the first Chris Eccleston shows. The Doctor continues to drop hints about it as the shows go on. I think he summed it up fairly neatly this last weeks airing on the SciFi Channel. He called it the Time War and said, "We lost."

I wasn't willing to wait for someone to pick it up here in the 'states. I bought the boxed DVD set through Amazon.co.uk in region 2 PAL format. Fortunately, I have the necessary equipment to play it. :) Now I need the Christmas Special and the next series...

Can't remember which episode it was in, but it all gets explained in full.

Second your thoughts c_lang (welcome BTW ), perservere, it's worth it. Quiet like the new lad, he settled in well and I was pleasantly surprised at Billi Piper. Turned out all right.
