Why do smilies sometimes not display as the happy little faces and show the code. this happens on and off and i was just curious:D

Not as far as i am aware Smurfy it only happens now and again

Smilies are caps-sensitive. You must use :D for the grin smiley (notice the capital 'D').

so i need caps on when i press pictures of smilies:D :dizzy:

Thats why it happened now and again thank you Oracle 128 another prob solved :D

so i need caps on when i press pictures of smiliesNot necessarily. The grin is the only smiley that uses a capital letter. All other current smilies require lower-case, ie. :confused: but not :CONFUSED:

Now i think of it it was the :d one that always played up
