Hi there. Im helping a friend of mine with a Wireless Router issue.

Now he has a Cable Modem which we pluged into the BEFW11S4
and pluged it back to the computer A and Computer B is in another room with a Wirless-B PCI Adapter Model No. WMP11

Now when i was here i pluged it up like i said and it was working for about a few seconds. then he said that it aint working so here i am.

I tryed going over to the 24 Chat help with LinkSYS they dont listen to you.
i think they ignoreing me.

Now anyway. Here is a picture of the Routers Settings on Computer A

Well, that seems OK as long as you are using the same security key. Sounds like it might be interference to me. 2.4ghz cordless phones and microwaves can disrupt WiFi. Anything like that close by?

If you are having problems always try and initialy set up the wireless with all encription off and firewall settings on the pc's disabled.

No need to disable the firewall if the problem is the wireless connection dropping off as a firewall won't affect that. Now if you are having trouble with file sharing or a particular network application that won't connect, then disabling the firewall is a way to determine if it is firewall settings.
