Hi, So I am connected so a wireless router in my house, the router is a D-link 624, and my wireless card is a D-link airplus G DWL-G510 Wireless Pci Adapter revision B. So when I bought it my internet was working fine till one day I was signed out of msn then it had to reconnect, So I thought o ok nothing much, then this continued on and started to happen more often, I was then playing some online MMorpgs and they would lag for a couple seconds every so often, all the online games I played i should say, and it is jsut happening more more often, and right now my wireless connection says it is aquiring a network adress but I am connected to the internet now and it just keeps saying aquriing network adress. I am running Windows XP home Edition service pack 2, no anti virus software, and it itsnt the range that is a problem thats ok. Any help would be very much apreciated.

Go into your router settings and try changing the channel to see if it helps. Could also be a problem with your ISP, you could always call them for support. Also, it's always a good idea to have some form of anti-virus protection. AVG is a free one you could use.

My nintendo Ds connects to the router jsut fine with no problem so it rules out the router as a problem so it is something on my wireless computer that is causeing the problem.

Try scanning for spyware and viruses to see if it helps. Also, what sort of internet do you have?
