Here's the deal -- I have a netgear wgt624 router and a wg511t wifi card. the laptop was purchased without wifi internal card (what a dummy) -- anyhow, it was working fine since 09/2005 and then sometime in late 01/2006 the BSOD devil arrived. I have been going round and round with netgears technical support (i think that qualifies as an oxymoron) and all i have done differently is download/install the latest drivers...The problem -- the connection will drop and sometimes it reconnects and i get a popup that says i am now connected to the internet, other times, i have to manually disable/enable the connection for it to work. Other times I do this and I get the bsod. And then there are times it just goes bsod on its own. It's not the wifi card because I have placed it in my Dell laptop and it works just fine. Please help. I am getting nowhere with Netgear.
