hi, i have a Prism dvd/cd player i want to give to an elderly couple.
i went round to connect it for them and discovered that they only
have a portable t/v it has a V/G picture but there is no scart socket
only arial in,power in .the dvd has power in arial socket, scart socket
and 2 small sockets video out, digital out.is it possible to connect the
two (they cannot afford a new t/v)if it is what connectors would i need?
i am not all that clever with electronics, any help much appreciated

You are prob looking for something like this (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=33050&criteria=scart%20to%20coaxial&C=GKW&U=scart%20to%20coaxial&T=P)

You can get a Scart to Composite lead. Should be cheap.

that wont work because the tv has only got a coaxial aerial input.

Sorry, missed that.

You don't have many options apart from the modulator if the DVD doesn't have an Ariel Out and the TV only has that connection.

A new TV would be another option.
