Hi,
I am planning to make a website of my firm, and I have an address available which ends with a ".in", which means it is Indian, yes, I live in India, and I would like to register it with the US servers or Canadian servers, for the simple reason that the speed with them is faster than with the Indian version. Can I register it with any of them. Is it possible?
Thanks and regards,
Soudager.

I don't think you can do that since the registration of those extensions have specific rules based on the individual countries. But it does not stop you from hosting your site anywhere you want.

Besides, even if you got another country's domain name, it would change the speed of anything. The speed from a server depends on the PHYSICAL location of the server (among other things). Simply changing the country-designator of the domain name does not physically relocate the server.
