Wireless Problems
I am in a hotel which has internet access. I arrived on sunday and the internet worked great. I am connected through a laptop via wireless. Monday night, my internet stopped working. It says that I am connected to the network, my signal is good, but I cant open any web pages or use the internet at all. When I connect to my roomates laptop thru a cable, I can get the internet and he's on wireless.
Basically, I did a system restore to default setting and it still didnt fix the problem. I sent packets but cant receive any. I don't know whats wrong. |

It's possible the hotel limits the amount of data you can download (it would be based on your NIC's MAC address if it works on his PC but not yours, and you're in the same room). Are you able to connect to other wireless networks? How about an Ad Hoc connectio between your two laptops?
