I won a free CD of Elton John's tribute to Princess Di.. the one that was selling for 40 bucks in the stores.. by entering a contest in THE STAR magazine. I had forgotten about it also, until about 2 months later when the CD arrived.. Needless to say I was tickled pink. ;D

That sounds so cool Ironside, but why do you wear black all the time? Since moving over to the US and what with how hot it gets in the summer, I soon learnt that wearing white tee-shirts during the summer, was much cooler than wearing black shirts, of which I always used to wear.
As for freebies, I like a Progressive rock group named Lands End. They aren't too famous in the music world, but anyway, I ordered one of their CD's. It arrived but sounded terrible! I E-mailed to them telling 'em how upset I was about it, they aplogised and sent me another copy, and added to the package another CD of theirs (of which I was going to buy anyway), and a couple of "live" tapes they had put together!!
Now that is what I call good business!!!

I just really always liked being in black or really dark clothes, even in the middle of summer im still wearing tee shirts and sweats,I never like shorts dont have the legs for it, and now my one leg is really nasty looking, I would never go out in shorts.
in my younger days I always wore jeans and high boots, not the pointed toes ones the flat ones,I still have a pair of them but can no longer wear them one foot is about a size 9 and the other is about a 10 1/2,whats really funny is i used to wear a size 12 shoes, your feet shrink with out use in them.
so my only pair of shoes is a pair of tennis shoes with valcro.

Well Irons, I was just the same as you with regards to wearing dark clothing, I always thought it looked so much better than light clothing. But now, during summer I keep to whites simply because that colour tends to reflect the heat, rather than absorb it. Other than that, you'd see me in dark t-shirts etc.!!
Can I ask what maybe a personal question (maybe many others have asked this already), what has made you have to live your life in a wheelchair?

Well today as a mater of fact! http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
I was entered in to a contest at ePeople and I have won a runner up prize. It's some Adobe software and a tee shirt and a hat. I had no idea I was entered in the contest. Guess I helped someone with their Adobe problem and that did it. Will let you know how long it takes to come in the mail. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/wink.gif

The only thing that I remember winning is a juice pitcher with 6 little glasses. I won it playing BINGO and it only cost me $20 worth of cards! http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
I think I still have it packed away somewhere..
