rich text format

I hope this is the right forum. I'm new. My typesetter is complaining because I sent her a 290 page document in rich text format, and she says it downloaded as 290 single files. She wants to know if I can send the document, (manuscript), as one large file. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I own a windows xp. She has a macintosh, I think. any advice would be greatly appreciated. :confused:
