View Full Version : How Can I Get My Laptop To Play All My Dvds

My Toshiba laptop with windows xp only plays some of my dvds when i put one in the drive i get a message saying disc not formatted for windows and its my intervidio windvd4 that only plays the few but not my windows media player all windows media player will play is vcds i hope sombody can help
i guess its a good thing i left my shotgun in the states:disgust:

are the dvds for region one or for your locall region?

yea there all from region one everything was bought in the states and i have no problem playing local vcd with out changing a thing but some of my dvds i mailed to myself wont play at all :disgust:

Try cleaning the dvd player. Also does the dvds play in regular players? Are they originals or burnt copies?

all the dvds are originals and i have used a lens cleaner for the player my regular player plays all the dvds but its my laptop that wont play most of them

It might be a free download but it will only repair 14 problems free and then you will be charged if you want to use the programme.. It found 834 registry entries that were bad.. I dont believe that for a min.
I use CC cleaner which you can download from HERE (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/download/file/ccleaner)is as good a free programme as you can get. :D
