Internet Explorer not working, WHY?
I have internet explorer and firefox. I use firefox the majority of the time, but for some reason today IE no longer works. Says "this page cannot be displayed". Firefox still works perfectly, so I am really not that heartbroken because firefox rocks,
but still I have to wonder what is going on??? The only thing I did different yesterday was enabled my windows firewall, IE is listed as one of the exceptions, but I disabled it anyways just to see if that was it....no luck. I have cable internet, use Kaspersky anti-virus, ad-aware and spybot, all 3 relatively newly installed, maybe one of them?? Any ideas????

Have you tried a System Restore to before the problems?

ok, so I solved the problem myself,
My proxy server changed their IP address, that was the problem, I disabled the proxy, and it works beautifully!! Problem solved. Thanks for the reply, guess I jumped the gun. |
