What's Going On???!??!

Brief history: My computer crashed, a compaq laptop. It turned out to be bad ram. In the process of fixing/diagnosing the problem, I reformatted the harddrive and reinstalled windows xp. There are 3 issues:

1. When I use Internet explorer some of the words/links come out as underscored. example "browser" will look like "________" . I downloaded firefox and it does it also.

2. The start button is fuzzy. This is really weird, everything on the screen is clear except for the start button. It works fine however.

3. Minor: The scroll on my touchpad doesn't work. I've gone to mouse properties, but I can't find the fix for this.

Thanks!!

If you reinstalled Windows with the bad RAM still in, there's a good chance alot of the OS files are corrupt. You will need to install Windows with good RAM.
