Missing Outlook Bar
I use Outlook Web Mail to pick up company EMails when I'm away from the office. Recently, I cranked it up and discovered the Outlook Bar (on the left--provides folder or shortcut access) had disappeared. I've looked everywhere, but can't figure out how I've lost it!!
What I have now is my inbox, but no way to get to sent mail, contacts, etc, etc. I'm running WinXP Pro and Firefox (but it's set to open Web Mail in IE) Can anyone tell me where the damn thing's gone (and more importantly, how to retrieve it)??

It's been a while since I've used Outlook but I believe the Outlook bar is restored by clickin on it in the View menu.

Thanks, Miz--my bad--should have mentioned it in the original Email, but Outlook Bar is missing from the view dropdown as well!

With Outlook closed, run a Search for outcmd.dat and when found, either rename it or delete it.
If it's not found, in My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View tab, check "Show hidden files and folders," uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" and "Hide protected operating system files," OK the warning message, click OK. Run the search again. |

Thanks, Miz--Found it; re-named it, but no joy. Again, this is the Web version of Outlook, not the hard drive application.
