CD Burning with remote program
I currently have set up on my intranet page an exe file that is run on location that creates a bootable disk image on the floopy disk that the user has inserted.
Is there any equivalent software that could do the same with a CD or is it the case that the user wiould need their own Nero or Roxio to create a bootable CD from my iso image

When you say it runs location, do you mean it can be run using the 'Open' feature of the download file prompt? Note that this doesn't actually run the file on location, it simply downloads it to a temp folder and runs it, instead of allowing the user to select a location (and having them run it manually). If so, you will need to find a free CD burner program that is packaged in a single executable. It would also need the CD and boot images packaged with it (extracted upon file execution), and you'd have to find a way to modify the burner tool so it can be used for your CD image only, without user intervention. Burning a CD, bootable or not, is not as easy as copying files to a floppy disk that can be booted.

Yes you have decrcribed exactly what i want. I want CD Burning software that does exactly what my current software does with a floppy- runs and loads a disk image.

I don't think any program exists to pre-define a CD burning process, automate it, and package it with the disc image all in one .exe. You could provide a free burning tool, provide a scripting tool (such as AutoIt), then provide a script of your own which will automate the process of burning your boot CD image in that particular burner, that would be the second-easiest way (with the easiest way being to simply provide instructions on burning the boot CD in various popular burning suites), but it's three downloads for the user, and cannot be run with a browser's Run/Open option. The hard way would be to get your hands on an open-source burner (eg. Cdrdao) and modify it's source to hard-code in burning your image, and then package it with the image, but of course that only works if you're a programmer.
