View Full Version : Tweak now reg cleaner

I use this program to keep registry clean after installing and uninstalling games.
However there are 9 entries that just refuse to budge even after removing them with reg clean and re booting

How can i get rid of them please. i dont have any symnatec products on my pc

I am still tring to understand why reg clean does not delete these entries.

Without researching into it, I'd say the first two are Acrobat entries and the last three are Norton entries. They probably remain because the associated programs restore those entries when it finds them missing. They shouldn't be deleted. Don't know about the middle four, but they're probably a similar situation.

i dont have any symnatec products on my pc
Have you ever done an online scan at Symantec? Could be something associated with that like an active x control which you can delete from I.E.

Yes i did run a security check and virus scan

Oracle128 is right. As far as i remember since i used that tool, the green shields are part from Windows applications or something like that. It is somewhere on the programs interface where it says what every colour means.

The green shields are items safe to be deleted. but as hard as i try they will not be deleted

I don't know, but i wouldn't worry, i believe oracle128 is right
