Volume Control Uninstalled

Recently I downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer (7). The file was corrupt and I had to uninstall it. In the process, I managed to wipe several programs from my PC including Volume Control. I have tried redownloading Windows Service Pack 2 but this doesn't work as it says I already have WSP2 installed. Can anybody help?
