xbox to computer

I want to record myself playing halo 2 online and post the highlights on the internet. I was wondering if someone knew how to pull a macguyver. My objects are 2 vcrs an nvidia geforce 5500 with s video output and some tapes. Is there any way that I can make that s video on my graphics card into an input? If not, what is the cheapest way to go about doing this? get a dvd recorder and put them in my dvd player on my computer, or getting an input from my xbox directly to my computer?

You cannot convert the output to an input. You will need to buy a video capture card for your PC to record there.

DVD recorders cost hundreds of dollars. Video capture cards cost about twenty bucks.
