Trans flash memory card

Hi, I have just purchased a mobile phone which came with a 32mb transflash memory card. When i plugged the card into its adapter and then connected it to my pc, i tried to put some music/photos onto it, but kept getting the message "cannot copy file, card is write protected". Any ideas whats going on.
Cheers

The Transflash card has a "write protect switch" on the exterior of the case, somewhat like the small slider on a floppy disk. Check to see if that switch has been pushed into the write-protected position. If it has, return it to the unlock position.
