No sound from warcraft
im using acer notebook model 3238,sound card is built in Realtek HD audio output,i literally transfered(i lost the game cd) warcraft 3 installed folder from my desktop to my laptop recently i could run the game and stuff but it has no sound! The error is "unable to initialize base sound service, sound is disabled. I tried changing the sound in options to dolby surround and miles emulated 3d but still the same error...
The sound works in media player and others just not in warcraft,is this because when i did the transfer it relays my desktop sound setting which is creative audiogy setting over and causes conflicts? Please help

Yes, and I'm really suprised you managed to get this working as much as you did.
Only way to resolve is to INSTALL the game on the hardware platform, not just copy the files.
