Not receiving CTH e-mail

Hey guys,

I've got an interesting problem, and with CTH, no less!

Here it is: Since the site was moved to your new server, I no longer receive e-mail notifications of new posts to threads I'm watching. I've checked my settings and everything, and it seems I should be getting the e-mails, but I'm not.

Can someone help me out?

Strange! I'm not experiencing any problems however jtdoom (one of CTHs moderators) also seems to be having similar issues.

Can you subscribe to this thread ? and maybe add email notification and tell me if it works ? I will post on here after you next post and that should notify you.

Out of interest what is your email address ? I will try emailing you now through the forum interface.

It's a weird problem with vbulletin software. A number of people are reporting this at different sites. Just turned mine on will report back if any difficulties.

So in conclusion it's not a CTH thing. Presume Jelsoft are working on it for the next release.

Email notification has been working for most people but not to some unfortunately. I have been looking into it and hope to have fixed this issue.

If any of you experiencing problems wouldn't mind testing to see if this has been resolved, and letting me know the outcome, it would be appreciated.

In my settings i have the email responce to be checked automatically. And it is still checked at the bottom of the reply box. But ever since the server change i haven't got them. I normally have about 10 a day and i have set up my eudora program to send them automattically to a certain folder. Do the other people with problems have it automattically check email responce? does it matter my email has 2 periods in it? My email it is sent to is eharris1@new.rr.com

No your email settings shouldnt be relevent.

Can you please subscribe to this thread enat ? and see if you get responses ?

The changes I made may take another 24 hours to take effect but if you could let me know if it works or not that would be great!

All subscriptions are working fine for me so its hard for me to duplicate the problem.

Hi all

Like Mishy said, I did not get any when I had them go to my home addy
when I changed settings in CTH profile panel to have them go to another mail addy of mine, it worked.

Mishy did something and I can now get them sent straight to my home addy.

I am sure he'll report to the developers of this software, so that this niggle can be ironed out..
