the main file is exe. when i right click on it, it says: macromedia projector, iv tried to open this but it says it cant find the video files.

then i have loads of video files (which are quicktime)

If you burn the files to DVDR, they will not work I'm afraid.

You would need to convert the files, using specific software and these would then need to be authored (different software) to create a menu, to choose which clips are to be played. Finally the resulting files, which will be .ifo, .bup and .vob files, would have to be burnt to DVDR, using burning software, such as Nero, in DVD-Video mode.

If you are not put off, have a look here for some guides etc. :

If you are a novice to all this, it may take you a fair time to master this and I should say the end result, will not be DVD quality.

im not a novice, i have burned dvds from mpeg and avi, also i have burned software to dvd. however this time im not sure, the file i recieved was actualy called iso in the title. i thought this is what can be burned as an image or dvd rom. but when i open the files (using winrar) there is only the exe program which is the platform for playing the videos like menues and stuff. and then iv got all the videos in a folder.

if i put the exe file in with the videos i can open it and use the menue to open a video, however the video works, but the audio is all jumpy, like its skipping. this seems to be another problem on top of my burning it as a dvd rom. i might just give up.

It's probably a CD image file, which, when burnt, can be used on the PC.

If you have Nero, you could try downloading Nero Vision Express/Nero Vision and try putting the .mov files in and creating a Menu. This is much simpler than using a seperate conversion program & authoring program.
I haven't checked to see if NVE definitely accepts .mov files, but it accepts most.

I guess it boils down to how much time you want to spend on it ;)
