Unhappy Problems In Running Games

I Installed Fifa 06 on my laptop...

the menus were smooth and all right

until i reach in game

it slows down..and normal and slows down again ...most of the time it;s juz slow..lagging

i have a intel centrino duo t2300, 512mb ddr2..x1400 256mb..80gb hdd

whats the problem ??? i dun understand why it's lagging

What is the minimum spec for the game? I think that graphics card might not be able to fully cope with the game, that would prob explain the slight slow down. I would try closing down all unnecessary programs to see if that makes any difference.

When it runs on my PC with a ati radeon9250 on medium ..it's kinda smooth ...dats what i did ... i closed all unnecessory programs .. i'm gonna try another game on it ..to c if it's the same ...

Unlike the low-end cards, these actually have a chance at the latest games. You can play HL2/CS:S fine, along with Far Cry and games similar to that. FEAR is where these cards will choke up, but it's going to be playable at lower settings and resolution.

this is from the review ..i dun understand why it's happening like this ??

Have you tried to update the drivers on that card?

it's actually new ... i juz got it like a few days ago ... the drivers are fresh

even though its a new laptop doesnt mean the drivers are new. You could check the driver version in device manager and compare it to the latest drivers out.

i downloaded the new drivers and i got an

INF error . Video Driver Not Found

Try To setup Your Display Adapter With A Standard VGA Driver before Running Setup ..What Does It Mean ??

Could be a corupt driver that you downloaded. Try downloading it again and from the main website for your graphics card.
