IE web page history dissapears

hi,
can anyone help i have internet explorer and when i go to my history for past web pages, say monday or different days, or even last week the whole thing is empty and everything has vanished, can anyone let me know why my history has just dissapeared, cause i am stumped, no one else uses comp, and i have ran no programmes to get rid of history, just can't understand it,:dizzy:

click on tools, internet options, general tab, under browsing history click on settings. Check out your history settings, change as needed.

yeh did that an had a look, i keep history for 7 days, but now and again it goes, when try to look back at past seven days,

Check in the advanced options to make sure it is not set to clear them on exiting the browser.

Do you have any other cleaning or Internet Security programs that would clear them?

yeh done that and going to keep eye on it for next couple of days, might do the trick thanx for the help.
