Unhappy Microsoft Works - If you overwrite some work by accident can it be undone?

my friend has been using microsoft works to do some coursework and has accidently overwritten her coursework with a older version of it so shes accidently saved over her new coursework with a older version so shes lost loads of it!

any way it can be undone?

Howdy:

Probably not.. as far as the program is concerned, the file she saved is the only one ... it doesn't even know they made corrections or saved the wrong file..

They could try a system restore back to the date before this took place but System Restore isn't supposed to affect personal docs..
