Firefox doesn't work sometimes

Hey everyone

I have Firefox 1.5.0.1 and sometimes it decides it won't load a webpage. This happens with lots of different pages, and I know the webpage's server isn't down or anything because I can access the page through IE. If I wait a few minutes it will sometimes start viewing that certain page again if I go to it. Anyone else have this problem?

Sometimes I have problems with webcomics like VG Cats, Order of the Stick, my own webcomic site, and then sometimes eBay, Gmail, and various other sites I happen upon.

To try the easiest thing first, in Firefox, go to Tools>Options>Privacy, click the Settings button and uncheck anything there you do not want cleared but leave "Cache" checked. Click OK and then click the "Clear Cache" button.

While you're there and if you have a fast cable or DSL internet connection, make sure the cache size is not more than around 10 mb of space. If you have a slow connection, a larger cache is better.

When you're done, click OK and see if things improve.

Ok thanks for the advice Miz. My connection is 256 kbps down/up DSL, so it's not the really fast high speed. I changed the cache to 20 MB.
