Sims2 Emergency!!!

I have the Sims 2 on PC and just bought all the expansions yesterday everything was going great until I put in Open For Business and all my neighborhoods had been delated. I tryed to make a new neighborhood but when I picked a terrian it came out all fuzzy and broken. I just figured the systems had overriden each other so I tryed to uninstall all of them and reinstall them, problem is every time I try to uninstall Open for business it keeps telling me I have it and related programs running. Please help me uninstall Open for Business!!!

Have you tried to uninstall it in Safe Mode ?

No what is Safe Mode?

First...Are you using Windows OS ?

Restart your computer, and tap your F8 Key while booting (just before the windows loading screen), and there will be a startup menu, choose "Safe Mode" then press enter.

Now you're in Safe Mode, in this mode only specific programs and files needed to run the OS are loaded. You can see if you're in Safe Mode, in each corner of your screen you can see "Safe Mode" this word and in low resolution mode.

Just try to uninstall your Sims 2 again (Control Panel>Add/Remove Program)
