Getting Internet...

I live in an area where I can't get cable, only Satellite. Also I do not qualify for DSL with my phone company....I have normal dial up right now...what are some of my other options?

You might reside in an area with wireless coverage. Check with your local ISPs if you can get wireless access (preferably EV-DO, or worst-case scenario, CDMA or GPRS).

Why is wireless not an option here, renegade?

its not that common. if the cable option is not available, odds are they live outside of town outside of any area that may have wireless. in other words, I'm playing the odds

Fair enough, but I know of locations that don't have DSL or Cable access, but one or more wireless options are available. Granted the geography of Australia is a lot different, but it's at least a possibility that could be looked into.
