EVE and Warcraft startup problems.

recently, this computer has had problems loading Warcraft and Eve-Online. I have since re-installed both, but it still does it.

basically, when i run the startup programs, the computer gets really (REALLY) slow and wont boot the game up. Warcraft usually goes to blackscreen and stops, and Eve will eventually show the sign in screen, but nothing beyond that. I was going to ask Warcraft Tech support, but I figure since it affects both games, it's something underlying with my system.

Any information I can provide to help diagnose this problem?
