Welcome :)

You need to wipe the drive or atleast reinstall the OS.

Thank You, but I do not have a Win 2000 Professional install disk, and I did not pay that much for the computer I was told there was a way to remove the old password. Is there any other way?

Not that we can tell you.

You can try logging in as the Admnistrator with a blank pass.
Otherwise you will have to purchase an Operating System.

 Thank You, for your help, Iwas hoping to save Win 2000 Prof. I called my son who is a Computer programer and he said the same thing you said, and that it was old and trying to save it was foolish, since I have XP on my two other computers. He said to boot with xp and delete it and format the hard drive and new install XP, which I've done. I still wanted to have that older computer with win 2000 (smile) I thank you again for your time. Howdy:

Sure hope you didn't use the same XP cd that you used on one of your other systems !!
