Fulls Screen Programs minimize without prompt

This also seems to be a problem with programs other than games, but that's what it mostly affects. Both F.E.A.R. and TES: Oblivion having been minimizing during gameplay. I can reenter the games afterwards and (in FEAR) keep playing, although Oblivion has a problem if the window is minimized. Since, similarly, when I put Windows media player into fullscreen, the the movie randomly exits fullscreen, I suspect the two are connected and that it is a problem with fullscreen programs in general. This has only been happening recently.

I tried sweeping my computer with spybot but it did not turn up anything.

This happened to me, and it was a huge problem, so i bought Webroot Spy Sweeper and deleted all syware. If your problem was like mine, its these annoying pop-ups that come up for like 2 seconds and then disappear. But hey, im no expert.
