Hi Every one!

Updates are these:
I got one of our two sites back up that was hacked.
I read on these boards some where forgive me for not remembering who posted it about getting an external for backups which I have done.
So now I have two externals one for programs one for data (backups).

My problem now is every time I reboot or start my system from it being off this MFP? Scanner thing wants to install and I can not get rid of it.

I do not even have my printer hooked up to my system yet as I have not made it that far.

Any clue how I can get rid of this? I have been trying for three weeks now.

Thank you

If you're sure you don't have it plugged in then it might be something set to run at startup. Try running MSCONFIG or something similar to see what is set to start and remove what you don't want. If your OS version is 2000 you can get MSCONFIG from here:

Nosrep thank you I tried every thing even what you posted still did not work.
So I finally did a reformat now no more issue....I did not even have the lexmark on my system nor plugged in and that was the weirdest thing I have ever seen happen yet.

My response is so delayed because we had a bout of terrible storms here, then had back up sign work to get done due to the storms but I thank you tremendously for helping.
