Cannot open all of attachment in Word Pad-It is in MIME format.

Hi,
Hoping someone out there can help. I have an important job information attachment and it is in Word Pad. However when I try to open it, I get " Unable to load graphics conversion filter. Do you want to continue with document conversion?" I say yes and I have to do this several times. Then I get the document, but I am not getting all of it and it is formatted weird. I saw under properties that this was in MIME format. Help?
