Hi everyone
I received a email from a friend and he stated that there was a virus that would not be recognized by norton or mcafee.
The virus or so called is jdbgmgr.exe with a little bear aside of it .
If it is a virus how do you get rid of it
and if you delete it will it do any damage to your files. It said to go to start ,find and type jdbgmgr.exe and sure enough it is in there bear and all. If you know of this please send some information my way.

Thanks alot
airdale

It's a virus hoax, airdale. See here (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/jdbgmgr.exe.file.hoax.html) for more information.

I didn't want to delete anything important

You're very welcome, airdale. Yes, it's a good idea to check on these "viruses" for which you receive information via email from friends, as they usually do turn out to be hoaxes.

hi

and yes, especcially those that say to forward/send the info to all your contacts....

and now, some spam
send a link to
CTH (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/index.php?s=) to all your contacts.

okay, let's keep within an common sense frame of mind...
what I usually do is send a link to
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html
