google is coming out with a lot of useful things. first was google earth and now free sketchup. i use sketchup 5 pro for my architecture school and it is very easy to learn and useful. if anyone wants to go further... look into form-z it is an awesome 3d modeling app... i have it but sadly i dont know how to use it beyond the basics.

Double posting an item of interest is not a bad thing. Some do miss it the first time around and get a second chance to see it. It certainly does not take anything away from the first poster and doesn't add more distinction to second or third poster. Doing a search on the forum every time one wishes to post to see if it is duplicated is most times not even thought of. I don't.:hmm:
That's my story and I'm stick'n to it.

I downloaded it the other day...and started to mess with it. I like Google Earth...and I think I will enjoy messing with this program as well. :)

Don't forget Google Word Online, I forget where that's located. I usually keep updated with Google on news.google.ca (http://news.google.ca/) or there's also news.google.com (http://news.google.ca/) or go straight to the tech section here: http://news.google.ca/?ned=ca&topic=t (http://news.google.ca/?ned=ca&topic=t)

I've used Picasa for a while now. It's a good basic photo editor that has some neet features. You can make a slideshow screen saver out of your pics in about 5 minutes. It organizes your photos for you, and other neet stuff. It's worth having.

I have Picasa as well. I like that feature...along with chat-enabled Gmail.
