I have no idea who George harrison is but i don't think that going to church or attending religious speaches and things that (language problem, i don't know how to say it in English) means that you believe in God or not and certainly doesn't mean that you wont be affected by that rendition if you understand it.
It's a spiritual thing, not a logical one!

Are you on the pot? (Line from "The Cable Guy).

Seriously Black Mirror, here's my opinion:

I'm actually a unique atheist because I do believe in an "after-life" of a sort. To be more specific, I believe in a "pre-life". That is, I believe after physical death, we return to a more nebulous state from whence we came. As much as I despise the bible, I believe Jesus the Christ was correct in regards to returning to the child like innocent state.

This state of being is buried in our memories, but with subconscious relaxation brought on by a moving song, a giggling baby, or beautifull scenery, we can "remember" that time in our evolutionary process when we were all closer to being one. That's why it's called "Re" "Member". (Re-join as one).

Here are the lyrics in Greek( i hope its Greek it looks Greek) for you and English

Hmm (hallelujah)
Ο γλυκός Λόρδος μου (hallelujah)
Μου, μου, Λόρδος (hallelujah)
Α.Μ., ο Λόρδος μου (krishna λαγών)
Μου, μου, ο Λόρδος μου (krishna λαγών)
Α.Μ. OH, ο γλυκός Λόρδος μου (krishna, krishna)
OH -OH-UUH-UH (λαγοί λαγών)
Α.Μ., Α.Μ. (gurur brahma)
Α.Μ., Α.Μ. (gurur vishnu)
Α.Μ., Α.Μ. (gurur devo)
Α.Μ., Α.Μ. (maheshwara)

I really want to see you
Really want to be with you
Really want to see you lord
But it takes so long, my lord

My sweet lord
Hm, my lord

I really want to know you
Really want to go with you
Really want to show you lord
That it won't take long, my lord (hallelujah)

My sweet lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hallelujah)
My sweet lord (hallelujah)

I really want to see you
Really want to see you
Really want to see you, lord
Really want to see you, lord
But it takes so long, my lord (hallelujah)

My sweet lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hallelujah)
My, my, my lord (hallelujah)

I love the way you translated "Hare" though...

[EDIT]: the image was a little heavy for my connection

One does not have to be any certain way or any certain thing to be moved by a good song or movie or story.
Never hearing of George Harrison? Now that is puzzling. The Beatles themselves talked of being known to more people than Jesus Christ. But they caught a lot of brimstone over that off-handed remark.
