View Full Version : Finding IE5.0 Repair?

Hello, back again, my friend wants to do a IE Repair on his windows95 and needs to know how to get to it, I forget how i did it on my old 98SE (but i have a shortcut on desktop) for it! I am not home to access it! Can anyone tell us how to get to it? Thanks Tom

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Double click on IE 5 and choose repair.

Thats what i told my friend and he said it was not in the Add/Remove screen? I dont understand this at all?

Have him navigate to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer. See if the IE 5 setup is there. If so, run it. It will do the same as a repair.
