List of alleged conspiracy theories. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_alleged_conspiracy_theories)

Here one can find just about anything many truly believe.
I hope you are amazed, as I, at the quantity contained within.
Mind boggling.:dizzy: Hope most just have fun with this.

The thing I like about conspiracy theories is disproving them. :)

Anyway, it is better than some of the stuff recently posted.

Well, Dan, at least no one has been banned on one of these.........yet.;)
C'mon now. They are fun. I was just recently introduced to some, like that 911 video I posted, and it got me searching for a few things. It's just another learning experience for me. Hope you don't mind too much.;)

Remember, the key word for conspiracy theories is quantity, not quality. How many conspiracy theories have proven to be true? A few, according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theory#The_truth_of_a_conspiracy_theory ), but they wouldn't really be defined as "Conspiracy Theories", because they both involved actual research and hard evidence, as opposed to generating randomly outrageous explanations for real events for fun and profit - your bog-standard cosnpiracy theory. It's called the Three-Step Conspiracy Theory Plan:

1. Claim x never happened, it was really a conspiracy by the U.S. Government, The World Government, and/or Aliens.
2. ???
3. Profit!

If I could ask you a question? Do you believe someone/group is trying to make a one world ordour?

Depends on how you interpret it. Yes, I do believe there are several groups who are attempting some kind of unified Earth collaboration. Interpol, the European Union, NATO and the UN are included in this ideal, and those are just the political ones. Greenpeace, just about every religion, the Nazis, and many other organizations, have all attempted, or are attemping, some kind of "world domination" one way or another (mostly in the peaceful sense of the term). The Magna Carta, Geneva Convention, International Waters, Antarctic Treaty System, Outer Space Treaty, and Moon Treaty are all examples of the products of such international collaboration (most of those due to, or complying with, UN standards).

It's important not to confuse 'World Order' with 'World Government'. As far as I'm concerned, they're different ideals - the former to have multinational agreements which prove beneficial to the Earth and it's people overall, with the latter a conspiracy theory to have one political power governing all nations and states as it's jurisdiction, most likely with one currency, set of laws, and it's own police force/army. For the latter, I do not believe there is any such organization in control, or planning to be, at this point in time.

As oracle stated, there is a lot floating about talking of a New World Order, but it's just talk. But if you talk to some that really believe in these things, you'll get some wild stories from government cover-ups to taking over the world. Now what fun would it be without these nuts?:D
OOPS. If you're one, disregard my last sentence.;)

Some time ago we had a town meeting and one of the U.S. Sen. was here.
There where about 250 people there.I just came out asked him if he could shed some light on the New World Ordour/One World Government; he talked about this and said it was some "CRAP" from the U.N.
I think there is a lot of problems brought on in the world by the U.N.
I know folks that live in New York, and they where telling me; every time the U.N. comes to town for there meeting of some kind:there is just a lot of drunks all over the place.
Just my 2 cents worth!

"U.S. Senator said it was crap from the UN?" You know how political talk is:
If their lips are moving, they're lying.;)

We'd be in a much bigger mess without the UN.
Yes there have been problems with UN peacekeepers, but that's true of billeted soldiers in many many parts of the world.

I'm on the 'For' side. There's been many times where UN inaction has lead to bad situations, but there is also a lot of good that they have done. You have to consider what would have been done if there was no UN (ie. probably nothing anyway). All in all, they certainly haven't abused their power, and the Iraq invasion clearly shows they don't have world domination.
