Free HTML editor, that's very user friendly, as in easy to use for a novice, for a Mac system? :) :) ;)

Is it possible to have one that may be compatable with both Mac and Windows?

TIA

Dave.

Don't get me wrong, I like MACs. Awesome machines for video
and graphics. S'matter of fact if you want to do DVD, video, and
rendering there is no IBM-clone that can hold a candle to a MAC.

Reality though is MAC is an Edsel. There just isn't the support
for MAC like there is for WindowsXX-based PCs.

If your MAC buddy wants to get aboard the "I want it all" train
then best to spend some money on Virtual PC (http://www.connectix.com/products/vpc5m.html) for MAC.
That way you can install and run many WindowsXX programs
and leave the MAC stuff for the MAC and run the WindowsXX
programs through emulation (Virtual PC).

btw, I looked but only found sharewares that blowup after 30
days and full commercial editors. This is what MAC users
go through all the time...looking for stuff and not getting a lot
of results.

Thanks Spider, I've been hunting around too, couldn't find much of interest, but I'll pass on your information here!!! :)

I tend to use BBEdit Lite (I'm tight ;)) which is a vast improvement on your usual Notepad kind of editor.

When I use a PC I use 1stPage.
