hello.
I facing this problem which seems to be a built in thing but want to stop it for every new user who logs in.
I have a XP machine on my domain.(other Xp machines dont give the same problem of course the configuration is different)
I did some windows updates (all the critical ones as on Mach 14th.)
Now even if I login with a new user on AD or local Sam~it prompts with me telling me appling personalized settings, IE 6, Windows media player and Windows desktop space.
But it prompts me only one time, once the username folder is created in the Documents & settings , then there is no prompt.
I dont want it to happen for all the users.
Any idea how to go about it.
I could find only this article which could be linked to this issue but unfortunately nothing for Windows XP.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/238441/en-us
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Counting on ya all.
