Can't ping...

when I try to ping from my win2k machine...I get the following:

C:\>ping 192.168.1.1

Any idea? I've checked my running process and ran a virus scan and don't see anything or pick up anything.

Any suggestions?

Other than this, my pc is running fine.

What happens when u ping www.yahoo.com
Does it also give the same error.

Try ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew to get the IP again in case its not static IP address.
