View Full Version : looking for an .art viewer

Does anyone know of a 'free' programme that will let me open a .art file??
I have a folder with the letters .art after the folder name and can't open it to view the contents. and I am going loopy :dizzy: trying to find one in the 'net'

Howdy:

.art extensions are AOL's proprietary default graphics.. guess what you need to view them with !!!

i'm on aol but i cant get the file to open even if i tell windows to use internet explorer.. am i doing summin wrong ????

Internet Explorer 6+ should be able to open .art images and if it can't (possible in Win2k or XP) you may need to use the resource kit

ok now i'm lost how do i use the resource kit, the page doesn't have a 'download' button

i'm running xp pro and i have service pack 2 installed

What happens when you try to open the .art folder??

it tries to open a web page thingy but then after ages i get a blank page

Are you sure this is a folder, not a file?
What happens when you right click and select properties? What does it tell you?
Where did this file/folder come from?
