Hi,
I have a big problem ,I haven't used my second computer for a long time and when I went to use it , I forget the password.
Is there any way I can boot up the computer without the password.??

I don't know if I understand your question but the operation system is window 98 , BIOS I don't know and the password is the one that window ask for when you turn on the computer ( before it can boot up )

Does Windows start loading and then asks for the password to log you in or does it ask for the password while still in POST??

Does the password request come before the "Wiondows is starting" screen or after??
If it is a BIOS password, pull the CMOS battery for 10 minutes or so and then re-install and try again..
If it is a Windows password, just cancel at the logon request..
Win9x security is non-existant and you can boot past any logon request !!

I don't know what kind of password it is , when I turn on the computer the message " The motherboard is power by Intel " come on the screen then it ask for the password and there is no option to cancel the password

What is the make and model of the system??
Sounds like a hdd password and if it is, your only option there is to send it away to have the password reset..
It may be a BIOS password and if it is, remove the CMOS battery like I told you to do a couple posts ago!!
