Another Icon Question

Hi all. I was just asked by a friend how to change an Icon for a text file that he created on his desktop. The proceedure, as I attempted to duplicate it was to open notepad, make a small text file (test), save the file to the desktop as test.txt. On the desktop there is a new icon (default windows notepad) with the txt file. The question is how to change that particular Icon without changing all the notepad default icons.

When I right click on the file, and select properties, there is no option to change icon for this one file. I wonder if anyone knows if this is possible.

thanks,
Jj

Hi,

then form the folder right click on the test.txt, send to, short cut on the desktop,
The short cut icon then be chaned.
