Today I downloaded Kazza Lite.
I am trying to avoid the spyware associated with Kazza.
However after a succesful download when I tried to set it up by clicking on the EXE to run the program I got the following error Message.
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down, if problem persist contact program vendor.

Then when I close that window another one pops up that says.
This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computor. Please contact your system Adm.

I have no system adm. I operate a single pc home type.
is there something I dont know here about running Kazza lite.
I am running windows 98 pent 3 500 with 320mb ram 32 mb video card and 5.1 sound card with a 20 gb hard drive.

Thanks Runo

Hi runo - welcome to CTH. Ditch your download and try downloading from another site or perhaps try a different version of KaZaA Lite. You can download different versions from here (http://doa2.host.sk/). If that doesnt work, KaZaA Lite have a forum dedicated to their software. Try a post here (http://www.kazaalite.ath.cx/bb/index.php?) and see if you get the help you need. If you do, we would appreciate it if you would post the fix back here in case any of our other members have a similar problem. Thanks :)
