Hi Everone, I have a GWAR3000 Addon 54g+ /125Mbps ADSL2+ Modem 4 Port Router http://www.addon-tech.com/gwar3000.html

I have been using the wired network everything seems to be fine most times it sometimes reboots for no reason but i'm not to bothered about that.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had any problems with connecting to Wireless signal on these routers? I know its not my laptop cos it connects to other wireless networks but can't connect to this one for some weird reason? (I have made 100% sure all my settings and correct it just seems that this router is a bit fecked? I even have WEP running seems perfect but i cant connect!!!).

Do you need any spercific wireless card or will mine connect fine? (its a Broadcom 802.11a/b/g WLAN).

I have checked their website for any updated firmwire but theres nothing please help! SOS ...

Welcome to CTH 1nf3c
Any correct band card should work with the same band router.
The trick is don't use the manufacturer's cd to set the card up - totally remove the connection and software if you have and go back and do it manually through "create a new connection". Makes life a lot easier.
Give it a go and post back if you get stuck.

hey! hehe thanks..

Not sure if this is going to make any differance tho cos, the wireless laptop connects to other wireless networks fine just not my one :S but i'll try deleting everything and try re-setting up it all again.. i'm using the default windows 'wireless windows network setup' or is this not default windows? I'll try not 'create a new connection' tho and look around see if i missed anything..

cheers :)
